How much in monthly returns is common for a skilled FOREX trader? Is 10% a month viable if one is talented?

It is quite common for a skilled Forex trader to make in excess of 10% per month. In fact 10% would not be considered to be a great month. Be advised though, it takes quite some time to develop the skill set required to be an efficient Forex trader.
I have an analysis that show the daily results of 4 hedge trading strategies over the past 500 days. You will see that each of these strategies has averaged over 10% per month. All the daily prices are included so you can easily validate the data for yourself.
Very few people are knowledgeable enough to invest in conservative Forex hedge trading strategies.....but this is what all the banks use. They are very happy to earn 40% on YOUR money and pay you 5%.
I would be happy to send you a copy of the analysis. I think you will be very surprised.

Because Forex trading does not GENERATE any new money, the only way you GAIN is if some other trader LOSES.....and on every trade the Broker still gets a cut! When you trade stocks, the overall value of the underlying company may improve, so both buyer AND seller can make a profit.... When you trade Bonds, the buyer can profit from a favorable rate, the underlying agency can invest the original deposit (improving their business), AND the seller knows if there is a higher yielding place to put their funds.... In Forex, none of this is true.....the ONLY way you can make money is for some other poor sucker to lose that amount of money....minus commissions!

Are you saying average 10% per month or have some 10% months. Forex is very risky and therefore has large gains and large losses associated with them. I would be willing to bet that no Forex trader with at least 5 yrs of trading has even come close to averaging 10% per month or even 5% per month. But most of these same people could probable show me what they had more 10%plus months than under 10% months. It is amazing howmuch the losing months or even days hurt when you deal with Forex.

I trade in forex market and I use a strategy which makes only 4% to 5% profit per month. My average yearly target is 50% profit per year.
I think this realistic target for me.
