Due to the merge, your shares are sold based on $9.5/share.

Your cash balance is credited accordingly

The last post was correct. I owned Sun. It was bought out by Oracle. I received $9.50/share. No Oracle stock will be given out. I can buy it on my own if I want.

I can't access my stock as they ask for my old SUN employee code and no one at Oracle can find the that code. Any ideas?

The Oracle purchase of Sun was just approved. You will receive ORA Oracle shares in exchange once the settlement dust rests.

You will receive a small portion of ORCL shares when the deal is commenced in a few weeks. (your monetary postion will remain the same)

You will receive $9.50 per share cash and no shares of ORCL. It was a cash per share buyout.
